Physical Therapist / FounderHayley became a pelvic floor therapist in 2017 after a birth injury opened her eyes to the limitations in traditional pelvic rehab.
Hayley took her Postural Restoration and Sports Medicine background and dug deep into the literature. Over the years developing an integrative whole person method to treat the pelvic floor.
She has become passionate about sharing this method with not only her clients and staff but to the masses via social media, online classes and various trainings for clinicians looking to take a different approach to pelvic rehab. You can learn more about those offerings at hayleykavapt.com
Casey Backus PT, MPT E-RYT 500

Physical Therapist Casey is a life long athlete and lover of movement . Her range of experiences is really what makes her stand apart in her practice.
Her previous work in neurological rehabilitation started Casey on the path of outside the box thinking. It’s where troubleshooting and problem solving complex issues became second nature.
Becoming an instructor at a physical therapy assistant program honed her ability to teach adult learners and make complex concepts digestable, something she integrates seamlessly into sessions.
Her years of yoga instructing, teaching as well as mindfulness, meditation and nervous system training has blended beautifully into the ethos of UMA and is such a gift for our community.

Physical Therapist Allie Ryan PT, DPT
Zone of Genius: Sexuality Counseling, Pelvic Pain, Pre/Post Partum, VBAC, Mens Pelvic Health
Allie’s athletic background lead her to her career in sports rehabilitation as an athletic trainer. Her passion for rehab pushed her to pursue her Doctor of Physical Therapy.
Following the birth of her first child she realized there was a huge gap in rehabilitation in the pre/post partum and pelvic health space.
Through navigating her own struggles she advanced her education through Herman and Wallace Pelvic Health Education as well as the Pre/Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist certification.
Through her work she realized so many of her clients lacked effective support for sexual concerns and so she has now also pursued certification as a Pelvic health Sexuality Counselor.
She is a passionate advocate for breaking down stigmas surrounding pelvic health and sexual wellness and empowering people to embrace their bodies through all life transformations.
Physical Therapist Megan Brannum PT, DPT
Megan is a new graduate of the Campbell University DPT program and Moore Co native - we are so excited to have her on our team.
She brings 11 years of trauma informed yoga instructing experience and a passion for whole person care. With this, Megan blends seamlessly into the UMA family and method and is an absolute sponge for learning.
Megan is fasciated with pelvic health across the whole lifespan. Yes, pregnancy , postpartum and beyond. But also pediatrics/teen pelvic health, pelvic pain , endometriosis, fertility and trying to conceive (TTC) .
